Bluepond robots are the oil in our system landscapes. They solve integration problems by offering a simple, controllable and affordable solution in case of legacy systems. Bluepond is very customer-focused and a pleasant and reliable partner. Together we have created great solutions.
The cooperation with Bluepond began with a missing interface and a lack of human resources to manually handle the activities. After a meeting with Bluepond it appeared logical to deploy their solution. Our ICT department reviewed whether this was a feasible solution, because its systems works on a front-end basis. A Bluepond robot is a “virtual user” that ensures all business rules incorporated in the software are applied, hence minimising operational risks. A robot optimises and standardises the business process and only records that cannot be processed need to be checked manually.
By this, the process becomes substantially more efficient.
The first link established was between an online service page and a legacy system. This rapidly expanded, amongst others, to bulk processing of files in the legacy system and to complaint registrations linked to data quality optimisation. The first solution was delivered in approximately 5 weeks. Hence very fast! Additional benefits are that these robots work around the clock, do not need breaks and never report sick. Ideal!
After this a project was started with Bluepond for the distribution of the incoming work. This project resulted in a monitor enabling the distribution within the department and subsequent processing of work that still requires manual work. A nice enhancement of the current solution.
In short, it is the oil in system landscapes. Wegener even won an innovation award with Bluepond! That speaks for itself!
